The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Each student is tested on their analytic, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills. They gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst. It takes place entirely in English and attracts students from over one thousand universities from over ninety-five countries each year.  This is the third time that South University of science and technology has participated in the CFA global investment analysis competition, which has achieved a historic breakthrough for the first time and achieved the best results. The success of the five students proved that the Department of finance has the ability and strength to train top-tier financial talents in China. In March 2020, these students will step into a bigger stage and compete with teams from Singapore, South Korea, Japan and other countries in the Asia Pacific region. We hope that they can make further efforts to get better results and advance to the global finals.
